Hi.

I just ported UAE4ALL to MorphOS. This is my first app ported for MorphOS. This port is mainly done for Efika machines because E-UAE don't get a decent speed for A500 games with sound. There aren't any optimization, overlay gfx would be interesting for next version.

You need to get working the emulator a kickstart file with the name kick.rom and a floppie adf image with the name df0.adf (file manager don't work)

And use F12 to toglle full screen, the graphics works fine with full screen mode.

I've tried to download it three times but each time LhA reported the archive is corrupted.

It's strange, i made it with MorphOS, using the option from context menu to create LHA from files. I will make another pack when i finish my work, i'm on the office now.

Seems to be broken here too. I get 1920996 bytes file, maybe it's interrupted when uploading? Last file (main exe) is corrupted, but other files extract ok.

Downloaded and unarchived:
1 file broken and it's the executable "uae4all" itself, as JPV noticed.
If you select "open" instead of "extract" the file is there but you can read, execute
and if you try to copy a prompt advices you that file is incomplete.
Btw, thanks for this porting!

Now i'm at home, i just uploaded the file again, sorry for this delay. I will have another version with Fame C core for 68k emulation instead uae core very soon... emjoy!

I just uploaded a new version of UAE4ALL, i made some compilation tests to get a better performance on Efika and must work better. The file manager now works, but only inside UAE4ALL directory, and window mode was disabled.

The speed is quite impressive (as compared with E-UAE), but how to:
1. emulate joystick in this thing?
2. disable the "status bar" in the bottom of the screen?

The joystick is emulated with a real usb joystick, there aren't emulation of joystick with keyboard, i have tested and it works. The status bar can't be disabled with last release, download again UAE4ALL, i was working yesterday to disable/enable status bar with F12, and now it can be disabled.

OK. All works with USB joystick.

And here comes another "how to":

Is there a way to stretch the emulation display to make it "real" fullscreen?

Oh, and there seems to be a problem with HAM-images - they appear in really freaky colours :).

I think that those options are not available, but it don't should take a lot to implement them, i'm thinking about implement a second page on configuration screen to add more options. About the HAM mode issue, i will check it, but UAE4ALL was developed to play A500 games, and there isn't so much games with HAM screens. I will work on these things for next version:

Second configuration page.
Add video mode: Full or Adjust.
Joystick emulation: keyboard or joystick.
Fix HAM mode.

Any other suggestion?

the HAM issue is not a big problem - in the games I tried it was used either in intro, or for displaying static screens (i.e. title screen :). Anyway - thanks for your effort and keep up the good work. Go BalrogSoft, go!
