I'm getting a requester on a few programs when tying to run them on 2.4 on MorphMini namely getvideo, the new BluePaint. They say
"arexx reimplementation is not finished yet, if you want to use ARexx, please install your original rexxsyslib.library...

bluepaint also wants to mount a mos-office to proceed.

wetter says could not create MUI application error: object not found

Any help on these issues?

With Snoopium you can check where MUI application creation fails by ticking on NewObject switch from the functions window.

"1. Rename rexxsyslib.library present in MOSSYS:Libs/ to, say, rexxsyslib.library_original.

2. Find the AmigaDOS 3.x version of rexxsyslib.library and copy the file to SYS:Libs/.

3. Use a text editor and insert the command line RexxMast >NIL: in your s:user-startup file.

4. Reboot"

Just curious... Can this be done without rebooting? Perhaps, a single "AVAIL FLUSH" console command can fully purge the incomplete library (or not...), before replacing it with the complete one. Then, RexxMast could be started from the same console.

Better use a FlushLib command. You can't flush a library when it is in use. So, you need to close all apps using this library, including Ambient. Not tested in this particular case though :). RexxMast >NIL: is already in startup-sequence.

ok i threw a load of rx files in and along with snoopiums errors and got wetter going
bluepaint a bit different story, it needed a few custom mui classes , I loaded them but now it won't load up and still complains about rx files, it also wants a mount mos office but now it closes out before i can do anything

getvideo is working sweet again,

created a new problem, Ed doesn't load up on open with requester, no biggie though, I use nowin. Another is every now and them ambient will fail.

the error screen ( I think someone has been playing around dropping things where they shouldn't be,
as directed by the MorphOS team), Edit and mounter won't come up and snoopium lists application.mui error for edit

Not sure which error screen you mean, but the whole thing looks scary. I'd boot from cd and check my installation if i were you. :)

yep busted, now I have to do damage control!
It's not that bad though except for edit anad mounter, I need mounter to mount the mac formatted usb drive so I can read it.

@fab
explain how to check, match up the files? in lib, then place them in lib(outside of mossys) some of the libs are needed for other programs. Now what's this about deleting rexxsyslib.library?

i never touch mossys: but i always change mossys:c to get colors in shell :)

weird I did but didn't get that screen, but the shell shows this new shell process 2 1;36mRam Disk:> 0m

on another note Is there a good gui mounter which will bring up devices, besides the one I messed up some how? I can't figure out which lib or mui interferred with it
