Four xcom-games were 1 euro at Steam.. been now playing UFO: Enemy Unknown (aka X-Com: Ufo defence) quite a lot recently, it still is excellent game. Have to check out the Win-port when I get home.

That is one of my all time favorite Amiga games! (shows how few games I play, but I have never been much of a game player except for the first 6 months after getting my A1000)
If I could have wished for any of the old Classic Amiga games to be ported to MorphOS UFO Enemy Unknown would be in the top 5, or maybe the top 3, so thank you Fab. I can't wait to download it and try it out later today.
How many have already had the pleasure of running it on their MorphOS computers? Does it use the original game's data files for all the graphics as I would guess? Are the mechanics of the game exactly the same as the original, or has Fab made any fixes, or improvements to the original? I haven't played it in a while so I can't remember what the glitches were in the original game, but I don't think there were many of them.
Well, I have something to look forward to later in the day, or this evening.
Fab, any chance that you could be enticed into porting, or recreating the game engine for all the Strategic Systems Inc. D&D games, like Pool of Radiance, Curse of the Azure Bonds, and Pools of Darkness? I haven't tried running these on MorphOS through it's built-in AmigaOS3.x emulator, but they probably work as I don't think they hit the Classic hardware. Scratch that request, but I do have another game/game creation program request for you to think about along the same line of thought. Strategic Systems Inc. distributed an "End of Line" game creation program that used the game engine of the D&D games I mentioned above. It was called Forgotten Realms Unlimited Adventures. All of these were old DOS PC games and many were ported to several other platforms, including the C64, AppleII, Mac, Atari, Amiga, etc. Unfortunately, by the time SSI would have been interested in porting Forgotten Realms Unlimited Adventures to the Amiga, I think the Amiga market was drying up and Commodore was bankrupt, so FRUA never made it to the Amiga.
Thanks again for all of your MorphOS programming work. You are my hero!

"Please note that the game is quite memory hungry (>400MB), and will just quit properly if it lacks memory at some point in the game.
If you encounter any issue, please contact me at: fabien.coeurjoly AT wanadoo.fr"
Maybe a memory problem looking at that?

I don't think so. My Mac mini has 1 GiB RAM and the glitch occurs even when the game is freshly started and my save game loaded. Besides, I didn't mention any game quitting. I noticed that there's a slight chance that the bug doesn't appear. Maybe 1 in 20 times or so.

Thanks for porting my favourite game (although I'm unsure whether 3D make it any better)!
I never had a reason to use more than 256MB in my Peg2. Now I will look for a matching memory module... |

@magnetic,
I totally agree, but evidently he has made some extra time to work on doing ports of other things, besides only working on OWB and Ambient.
If he is inclined to work on any other games, I was just putting in my request for which one (FRUA) that would be at the top of my list.
I know it is not likely to happen, as I don't think there is any Linux version of FRUA that could be easily ported to MorphOS. It is just too old of a game/game engine for anyone to bother with.
