Cool is it too much to ask for a GUI after all these years?

What's wrong with the http one? Works well in OWB.

You can always ask for a gui:) but I don't plan to do it.
The web interface works very well with OWB.

Yeah. Also dont forget to change the web interface to advanced, it looks so much nicer than the default one and its got all the bells and whistles what you want or need (probably more). Its got cancel, pause, etc. buttons for every files, progress bars and all...
You can also access all the settings from there, no need to edit txt files to change some config values.

It could only be better, if owb could run in a borderless or windowless mode, just the rendered page itself - w/o toolbar and such, nuttin more, with (overlay?) exit and iconify buttons at the top corner (or got the window borders visible only if you hover the mouse over it, wich would be good if you want to resize it fe.).
In that way it would look exactly as separate gui/app.

This could also be achieved by a future webkit-mcc (same engine as owb but w/o the browser) and a future mldonkey could use that for displaying the webinterface as its gui in a borderless window (advanced mode as default).

@sadddam
(advanced mode as default)

If I don't really missed something obvious:) there is this "advanced mode" as default,
but if you install my release over an old existing installation, you will not get all default values.
The best thing is to make a clean install: Install tokai's archive and extract my files over it,
easy as is, I also changed default download speed from 50kb to maximum:) , never
understand why 50kb should be the default one:)

It works, but not very well here.
Usually the interface stops responding after downloading a few MB.
Not sure why that happens, but I've almsot given up using MOS for torrents because of this.
utorrent on my pc works flawlessly and have a very easy to use and understand interface, so I usually end up downloading from there.

Please post the links to the torrents you have problem with or send me a pm with the links.
Are you sure that mldonkey don't allocating some needed filespace when you can't communicate with the interface? This can take a while, especial if it's a big file and a small 2.5" in a mini, but after the allocation you should be able to communicate with the interface again (until next allocation:)

Thank you, now its much better :)
My MAXMEM settings was ok already, but the problem was in my downloads.ini file.
I now set that loop_delay value to 100 as described in post 34, and after a reboot I did test and downloaded two torrents at 100MB without problems.
