Which MorphOS 2.0 pointer set do you use?
Alba, because it is so shiny white.
Chicago, because I like it's art deco look.
Default, because I don't want to change it.
DefaultRed, because red is better than black.
Lux, because it's so transparenty.
Olympus, because it reminds me of Populous.
Silverado, because it's tiny.
STBlue, because I have problems with my eyes.
I don't have a graphic card supporting 32bit pointers. :-(

Announcements : Amiga Future Issues 44 (german) online
Posted By: AndreasM. on 2008/7/21 12:55:06 (Reads: 16)

Announcements The german issues 44 of the Amiga Future are out of stock. Because of that you can read the magazines (amongst many other issues) online at http://www.amigafuture.de/kb.php?mode=cat&cat=10 .

The issue 73 has been released recently and is available in our online shop. Just now we work hard on issue 74.

You can order the german and english Issue 73 of Amiga Future in our online shop.

Amiga Future needs your support

We are looking for editors for the magazine. You should own a classic Amiga or Pegasos and know it's workings. Furthermore you should have some experience in writing reviews. As well as that, your native language has to be either German or English which you should be fluent in.

Please don't forget: The Amiga Future is a community project.

In addition we are still looking for translators for the magazine. Again your native language should be German or English and you should be fluent in reading/writing both of them.

Interested? Please contact us via mail at: Andreas@amigafuture.de

Announcements : Open Video Toaster Instant Bounties
Posted By: discreetfx. on 2008/7/15 8:11:17 (Reads: 71)

Announcements IMMEDIATE RELEASE : DiscreetFX Announcement

Open Video Toaster Instant Bounties

Chicago, Illinois ? July 14th, 2008 -- Visual FX company DiscreetFX LLC Inc., in order to stimulate development for the Video Toaster Flyer source code DiscreetFX is launching an Instant Bounty contest. What is an Instant Bounty? This is a bounty that is paid once a programmer has requested and been assigned a programming task for Open Video Toaster. This does take a little trust on our part since bounties are paid before coding even begins. Programmer past developments and applications will be taken into serious consideration and help gain them approval for OVT Instant Bounties. Programmers should review source code for the bounty in question before applying for consideration. Each development task for OVT will have set guidelines and coding time limits. (Read more...)

Posted By: itix. on 2008/7/13 19:46:32 (Reads: 196)

MorphOS and Software On schedule and not rocking like usual, OS4Emu 2.0 is released only two years late and is more annoying than ever. While slacking and playing Halo on X-Box, we developed a few new features and fixed some old!

Announcements : PPC-native PCMCIA Network Drivers
Posted By: ncafferkey. on 2008/7/13 19:45:36 (Reads: 54)

Announcements Beta versions of prism2.device and etherlink3.device (a replacement for 3c589.device) that support PCMCIA cards under AmigaOS4 and MorphOS are now available for download. Thanks must go to Chris McGonagle for testing several versions of the OS4 drivers on a PPC-equipped A1200 as I don't have such hardware.

Be sure to install the provided 68k pccard.library in LIBS:. Further information about installation, compatible cards and contact details can be found in the older prism2 and 3c589 archives on Aminet.

Download here. Please report successes as well as failures - I need to know if the software is ready for a full release.
